Hi, I'm Fred (he/him)! Life can be complicated, and therapy is a space to make sense of it — whether you’re navigating everyday stress, relationship challenges, or deeper emotional wounds. My approach is relational and insight-oriented, helping you explore how your past experiences and inner dynamics shape the way you show up today.

I draw from psychodynamic therapy and integrate aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic IFS, which bring awareness to the different “parts” of ourselves and how they live in the body. This mind–body connection supports clarity, self-compassion, and healing.

For couples work, I’m trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), a model that helps partners identify the negative cycles they get stuck in and build more secure, connected ways of relating. The goal isn’t to assign blame but to understand the emotional needs underneath conflict and restore a sense of safety and closeness.

I work with both individuals and couples — including those in consensually non-monogamous (CNM) and more traditional monogamous relationships — to help navigate the unique complexities that come with love, communication, and connection. As a gay man, my own process of embracing my identity gives me a deep appreciation for the nuances of sexuality, gender, and belonging, while recognizing that everyone’s story is distinct.

Together, we’ll create a collaborative, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s holding you back, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a more grounded, authentic version of yourself.
