Hi, I’m Michael (he/him), and I believe therapy is, at its core, a relational process rooted in feeling genuinely heard, understood, and supported. My presence with clients is calm and curious, while also direct, and I work to create a space where people feel safe bringing their full selves into the room.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. Rather than offering answers or advice, I endeavor to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions and to listen deeply, thereby creating space for your own insights to emerge. I aim to help clients examine patterns of behavior and beliefs with curiosity and care. I view therapy as a place to cultivate greater self-awareness, leading to a deeper sense of fulfillment, connection, and joy.
My background in acting and communications has shaped my sensitivity to nuance, emotion, and meaning, and I bring that attentiveness into the therapeutic relationship. I am currently a therapist-in-training, and I’m committed to creating an inclusive, nonjudgmental, and supportive therapeutic environment. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities who are seeking support, clarity, or meaningful change in their lives.
