Hi! I’m Sofia (she/her/ella), a bilingual therapist (Spanish & English) who views therapy as a collaborative process. I'm committed to working with you to reclaim ownership of your story and move toward healing on your terms. I believe that each of us is multi-dimensional, not a monolith. I take the time to explore all the identities and experiences that shape who you are today, so together we can create a care approach that’s as unique as you are.

As a First Generation American, I understand the importance of holding space that is culturally humble and anti-oppressive, especially when navigating the challenges that bring you into therapy. My work is grounded in attachment-based and trauma-informed theories, which I integrate with somatic and cognitive approaches to offer a well-rounded, holistic perspective. The work we will be doing is collaborative, and I will make sure you feel included in each step of the way.

Outside the therapy room, you can find me in one of New York City’s beautiful parks (Riverside Park is my favorite), at a yoga class, or crocheting something cozy!
